It’s always there, almost always open, totally reliable and absolutely marvelous, situated on the ground floor of a 9-story open atrium. This is a great place to have a meeting, or a cocktail with a small group, or coffee or tea while working. Act like you own the place, because you do. This is the city’s best-kept, although semi-open, secret.

Given it’s an all-day lounge with small plates, not much here is a stand-out, but if the eggplant dip is yum. The Beekman Vesper cocktail is a winner, but they make any drink expertly.

After work this place gets really jammed, so the pro move is to arrive before the throngs.
