Panthéon is an attraction in Paris, at Place du Panthéon.
Built before the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, the Panthéon is an impressive monument to French history and culture. Modeled after the Roman Pantheon and with many French luminaries interred there, visiting this former church is a solemn, religious experience. Famous authors like Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Voltaire among others are laid to rest within its walls.
