Bar Hemingway

Bar Hemingway is a bar in Paris, at 15 Pl. Vendôme.

With only 25 seats, Bar Hemingway is probably one of the toughest seats to procure in Paris. But as with most things that are difficult to come by, this historical landmark is worth the effort. The same bartender, Colin Field, has been running the show for the last two decades (holding only during a lengthy refurbishment completed in 2016). The room is made for literary conversation, with its leather armchairs and upholstery, black-and-white period photography, a gallery wall of framed magazine Look and Life magazine covers featuring Hemingway, a vintage typewriter and stuffed bookshelves.
