Verne Club

Verne Club is a bar in Buenos Aires, at Av. Medrano 1475.

Verne Club is a classic speakeasy cocktail bar, loosely based on Jules Verne's books and a menu inspired by Phileas Fogg's travels. Picture deep leather Chesterfield sofas, Turkish rugs, small brass wheels and bits and parts from unknown objects hung on exposed brick walls, framed Victorian-style images of equipment from the future, antiquated goggles, and reverently exhibited boxy TV sets. The atmosphere is as lively as it appears, with cocktails to match. Take a vacation to Rangoon with a cocktail prepared with cherry tomato vodka, peated Scotch, citrus, and a house-made shrub shrub, or a tour of India with a cocktail made with Punt e Mes, espresso reduction, beer, cocoa, and vanilla perfume.
