Chef Tyson Cole opened the award-winning Uchi, which translates to "house" in Japanese, in a rebuilt historic home in South Austin in 2003. Combining unexpected ingredients like fresh pumpkin and goat cheese in superlative fish meals that arrive with a magnificent presentation, using traditional techniques and fish brought in daily from Tokyo.
