Buteco is a Brazilian-inspired coffeehouse and bar at the Beacon, opened in 2018 by São Paulo-born percussionist Rafael Pereira. Mornings bring coffee and a quiet bar, while evenings turn to rum and cachaça cocktails, Brazilian snacks and street tacos cooked in a food truck parked on the patio. Most nights there's live music, from the house samba band to jazz, salsa and DJs, under string lights on a tiled patio.

Good to know
It doesn't take reservations. A small entertainment fee is added to checks on live music nights. The kitchen runs out of the food truck on the patio. There's a second Buteco inside Southern Feed Store in East Atlanta.
