La Semilla

La Semilla is a restaurant in Reynoldstown, Atlanta, at 780 Memorial Dr. SE #4A.

La Semilla is a fully plant-based Latin restaurant on Memorial Drive, grown from the Happy Seed pop-up by Reid Trapani and Sophia Marchese. The scratch-made menu leans on Mexican and Cuban flavors, with mushrooms, jackfruit and masa doing the heavy lifting, and the bar mixes playful rum and agave cocktails alongside natural wines, local beer and zero-proof drinks. The airy, plant-lined room with its cabana seating feels like a little vacation.

Musts

Chochoyotes (masa dumplings in coconut-corn broth), mushroom al pastor tacos, the jackfruit Cubano, queso blanco with house chips, and a Mole Fashioned.

Good to know

Reservations are on Resy and the room fills up; walk-ins may find a seat at the bar. Weekly specials change every Wednesday. The menu flags gluten and allergens, and meat-eaters regularly say they forget it's all vegan.
