Kevin Rathbun Steak

Kevin Rathbun Steak is a restaurant in Inman Park, Atlanta, at 154 Krog St. NE Ste. 200.

Kevin Rathbun Steak has been one of Atlanta's go-to steakhouses since chef Kevin Rathbun opened it in 2007 in a former Clorox factory beside the railroad tracks on Krog Street. Past the unassuming exterior is a dim, candlelit dining room of white tablecloths, exposed brick and stained glass, plus a more casual bar for catching a game. The menu covers dry-aged steaks, seafood and classic sides, and the BeltLine patio is a favorite for cigars and people-watching.

Musts

Lobster fritters, Yaya's eggplant fries, thick-cut bacon, a dry-aged ribeye or the dry-aged steak for two, and charred jalapeño creamed corn.

Good to know

It's dinner only, and reservations are a good idea. There's valet and self parking. The BeltLine patio has a fireplace and welcomes cigar smokers. Steaks come with your choice of butters and sauces, and critics praise the sides as much as the beef.
